remembrance day
Person 1:Hello!
Person 2:Hi again!
Person 1:How is it going?
Person 2:Good and you?
Person 1:It’s going good and you?
Person 2:Okay so have you heard about remembrance day?
Person 1:Yes
Person 2:So are you going to be a peacekeeper?
Person 1:Indeed are you going to wear a poppy?
Person 2:Of course!
Person 1:Same I mean we should it’s remembrance day
Person 2:I know and if we don’t then what’s the point of being peacekeepers?
Person 1:I agree!
Person 2:But how is the poppy supposed to be worn? I mean which side right or left?
Person 1:It’s supposed to be worn on the left lapel garment or close to the heart.
Person 2:Oh okay thanks!
Person 1:Your welcome so do you like remembrance day?
Person 2:Yes it brings peace to the dead.
Person 1:Did you know ‘’Remembrance Day’’ is the primary designation for the day in many Commonwealth countries such as Australia and Canada?
Person 2:Wow really?
Person 1:Yes it means that many poppies grow in Commonwealth countries.
Person 2:Do you know where poppies grow?
Person 1:Yes they grow in Flanders fields.
Person 2:Yes I know there is even a poem and a book about it.
Person 1:Really?
Person 2:Yup!
Person 1: Wow that’s cool!
Person 2:Do you like poppies?
Person 1:Yes they are my favorite aren’t yours?
Person 2:They are not my favourite but I like them still.
Person1:Oh do you have ceremonies at your school for Remembrance Day?
Person 2:Yes how about you?
Person 1:Yup for every Remembrance Day it’s really a important day it brings peace to those who died from war.
Person 2:I know and I will always remember them.
Person 1:Me too.
